YTTEK partners with network software leader Ranplan to accelerate 5G mmWave rollouts at EuCNC 2025
Hsinchu, Taiwan, May 28, 2025 — YTTEK, a pioneer in Taiwan’s mmWave and software-defined radio technologies, has announced a strategic partnership with Ranplan, a UK-based global leader in network planning software, to jointly accelerate 5G mmWave deployments through intelligent Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) optimization. The collaboration is being unveiled at EuCNC 2025, one of Europe’s most prestigious telecom technology events, held from June 3–6 in Poznan, Poland.
At the heart of this partnership is a fully integrated solution combining YTTEK’s EcoRIS—a 24-inch liquid crystal-based RIS operating at just 2W—with Ranplan’s advanced AI-driven network simulation platform. The result is a first-of-its-kind tool that enables service providers and system integrators to simulate, plan, and validate RIS placement virtually, drastically reducing traditional site survey efforts and deployment costs.
