Taiwan’s first: YTTEK to unveil indigenous anti-jamming UAV communications at TADTE 2025

Hsinchu, Taiwan – September 11, 2025 – YTTEK, a leading innovator in software-defined radio (SDR) technology, today announced a major breakthrough in Taiwan’s defense capabilities. The company will showcase the nation’s first indigenous anti-jamming UAV communication transceiver at the Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition (TADTE) 2025, a significant milestone for Taiwan’s sovereign defense communications.

Unmatched resilience for contested environments

At the core of YTTEK’s exhibition is the SDRone UAV transceiver, a system engineered for critical missions in hostile electronic warfare environments. The SDRone features a wide frequency switching range from 300 MHz to 6 GHz (covering L- and S-bands) and a high-speed frequency hopping rate of 2,000 hops per second. This powerful combination delivers advanced anti-jamming and anti-detection performance, ensuring resilient command-and-control links, secure data transmission, and enhanced UAV survivability.

“Modern battlefields demand not only endurance and mobility but also secure, resilient communications,” said Jiangson Chen, CEO of YTTEK. “We are proud to be the first in Taiwan to introduce this technology. The SDRone is designed to provide robust anti-jamming and anti-detection capabilities to ensure mission success under the most challenging conditions.”

Enhanced operational flexibility with C4ISR integration

Designed with C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) principles in mind, the SDRone supports edge computing integration and features a compact, SWaP-C (Size, Weight, and Power-Cost) optimized architecture. Its point-to-multipoint (P2MP) capability allows a single operator to control multiple UAVs simultaneously, significantly boosting mission efficiency and operational flexibility.

Proven expertise in satellite and defense communications

In addition to its UAV solutions, YTTEK will highlight its proven expertise in satellite communications. As a long-term partner of the Taiwan Space Agency (TASA), the company’s HyperSDR high-speed satellite transceiver has successfully received and decoded signals from TASA’s Formosat-5 mission and NASA’s Landsat-8 and Landsat-9 satellites. This track record underscores the proven reliability of YTTEK’s wireless solutions and highlights its strong position in the global defense and space markets.

Building on these success, YTTEK is now actively leveraging its expertise to support UAV system integrators and government stakeholders in the defense sector.
